From experience, while on the 1 Day Tsavo East National Park is common to come upon large families of giraffes, gazelles, hartebeests and zebras, as well as four (4) of the “Big Five” – buffalo, elephants, lions, and leopards. Tsavo East National Park, being flat with thorny bushes and swampy marshland near its seasonal rivers makes it easy to see diverse animals and bird species.
This Tsavo East day trip starts early in the morning at dawn and ends at dusk. You will have about five to six hours of game drive looking for animals and birds while also enjoying the spectacular red colored landscapes of Tsavo East national park where the vast plains stretch to infinity. Lunch in a lodge that overlooks a waterhole where wildlife come to drink (Voi Safari Lodge). There is an underground observation area where you can see the animals at a very close range as they drink and bathe.

Day 1
Our driver guide will pick up early in the morning and Proceed along the Nairobi – Mombasa highway on a scenic 2.5 hour drive along smooth tarmac.
On arrival at the park, check inn and immediately start your game viewing in search of Elephant, Lion, Cheetah, Buffalo, Giraffe, Antelope and many more animal species.
Lunch shall be at a rustic restaurant overlooking the Tsavo East plains or at one of the safari lodges.
Time permitting, there shall be an extra game viewing drive after lunch. Later depart Tsavo East for the Kenya Coast to arrive approximately 6:30pm. Drop off at your beach resort or Mombasa Airport.
