Tarangire lies to the south of the large open grass plains of southern Maasai land and is the best-kept secret on the northern safari circuit. It offers wonderful panoramas of wide savannah grasslands dotted with open acacia woodland studded with large Baobab trees. The density of game is second only to the crowded Ngorongoro Crater.
This unusual park lies in the shadow of the Great Rift Valley whose reddish brown escarpment wall looms 1,950 feet high (600 metres) on the eastern horizon. Waterfalls spill over the cliff and hot springs bubble to the surface in the south.
Serengeti is one of the greatest national parks in the world, the park gets its name from the Masai word Serengeti meaning ‘endless plains’. The Serengeti greets you with a sight of miles and miles of endless African savannahs filled with wild animals. This park draws thousands of people from all over the world to witness the much acclaimed migration of the wildebeest – one of the most fascinating sights in the world.

Itinerary
NB: This safari is only possible to start and end Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport
Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast our safari guide will pick you at your hotel in Arusha and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game drives with a picnic lunch. Later, we return at the tented camp or lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Activities: Game drive.
Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its biodiversity. The park includes different environments: the lake, the forest and the plain. The lions climb the trees because they don’t like wet soil due to underground springs. It’s rich in primates, birds and big mammals.
Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we will leave Manyara and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will then proceed crossing Ngorongoro Highlands to the Serengeti gate, here we start the game drive for this day. Later on, we will return at the tented camp or lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Activities: Game drive.
Serengeti National Park is the most famous park of all Africa. More than 15,000 square kilometers of savannah full of lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants and many other wild animals.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater Rim
After breakfast we will experience the last game drive in Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, we will proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for your overnight stay on the crater rim.
Activities: Game drive.
The Ngorongoro Crater is a must-see while on safari in Tanzania for its high density of wild animals. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a conservation project where the Maasai and their livestock live together with wild animals.
Day 4: Ngorongoro to Arusha/Kilimanjaro
After breakfast, we will descend inside Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive with a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, we will drive back to Arusha where our safari ends.
