Start your game drive session proceeding to the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro and its vast open savanna landscape, amazing wildlife, scenery and visiting local Masai cultures. Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli
At 8:00 pm, you will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel and then begin your drive to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is famous for its scenery, including the snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro that dominates the landscape and looms over the open plains. You will
have a short game drive upon arrival and then check in at your camp or the lodge. Have lunch and a short rest before proceeding on your afternoon game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp or lodge.
Day 2: Explore Amboseli full day game drive
Spend the full day in the park exploring the abundance of wildlife here. This wide expanse of savannah and swampland includes (the generally dry) Lake Amboseli and the snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. But the crowds of elephants are Amboseli’s biggest draw. Head to Observation Hill for an amazing view of these incredible creatures.
The early mornings and late evenings are the best time to see the elephants. You will also have the chance to visit with the Maasai people. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp/lodge.
Day 3: Amboseli – Nairobi
After an early morning game drive, you will return to the camp for breakfast. You will then check out and drive to Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch. If you have enough time, you can eat at the famous Carnivore Restaurant at your own as an extra lunch. You will then be dropped off at the airport or your hotel, which will conclude your safari.
